As we enter the Thanksgiving season and begin preparations for a wonderful feast, we are especially thankful this season. He sees one of his doctors this afternoon and we're hoping they have a solution to ease the pains that continually pop up.
We are FLYING HIGH that Dad is home and out of the hospital.......

I(we) never had as much fun playing a children's game and drinking our version of "kool ade" as we did with Uncle Phil and Aunt Phyllis" back in the days". His smile is something no one can ever forget, a ever so slight mischievous kind of smile, definitely one of a kind! Uncle Phil is also generous to a fault, having giving us our first snow shovel, unwittingly of course, and it lasted quite a few years! There are many objects that were given to us that we still have and will always cherish, thank you, thank you, thank you. With much love, Phil and Paula.
Change of seasons. They happen even though we don't want them to. I remember how Uncle Phil always found something to smile about. the first Spring bloom, the beautiful array of flowers him and Aunt Phyllis tended to in the summer, raking the autumn leaves and especially the first snow flake even though that meant shoveling. This and more is what I thanked God for on Thanksgiving Day. Love to Kathy, Aunt Phyllis and most of all Uncle Phil.
